Makes the Pi so much cooler than a regular case!

I use my Raspberry Pi mainly for light computing and ad blocking for my router. In a normal plastic case, however, I had a constant CPU temperature of around 63 °C. It didn't feel right and could affect my Pi's life (look what I did there). This was the main reason I tried a fan case or passively cooled case (aka metal case). I tried the fan only case and it got me to 42C which was a significant drop. This case offers the best of both worlds as it is partially metal and also has a cooling fan…

  • Good but not great

Sturdy clean design and good price

I have yet to get my Raspberry Pi working so this is just an overview of installing the iUniker BIFACE case. Installation is simple and straightforward. The heatsinks cover their respective components and adhere well (make sure you line them up if you put one in, you won't get a second chance). All of the port holes line up well with the connectors and although the holes are recessed into the case there is more than enough room to hold all the cables in place and ensure a good connection…

Everything you need to protect your modest 3B+ Pi purchase Includes PoE

Acrylic cases are the standard for the Pi and much of the market difference is based on parts fitment, build quality and durability. This case has it all, there are three heatsinks for RAM, CPU and Ethernet, there is a fan to keep the board cool and there is plenty of room for all components. The hallmark of a 3B+ compatible case is whether there is enough space for the power-on ethernet part, in which case it is. You have to invent a jewelry screwdriver yourself. This kit includes an…

Sturdy case, too much metal means mediocre WiFi

The case design is okay, but there is so much metal in the case that it acts as a directional antenna. If it's not near your Wi-Fi router, you'll likely need to point the top (plastic) part of the case at the Wi-Fi hotspot to get a signal. I wouldn't recommend this case unless you plan on plugging it into an ethernet port. If so, it's a great case and you should definitely get it.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • No paint required

Cheap. Wrong top.

I had high hopes for this case. I needed something with cooling, but I wanted it to look decent. That fits the bill. However, I was immediately disappointed by the design. The top didn't fit at all. It's a simple snap, but it was so loose that when I mounted it vertically, fan vibration caused the lid to fall off. It was also because the fan ran slower at 3.3V because 5V was incredibly loud. In general, a terrible case. Save money and buy something else.

Pros
  • Stable test results

  • Negative result available

Complaints are best in computers and accessories

There seem to be reviews for the 3B+ case in this category. This is an overview of Case 4B. I don't know if they are different as I've never used any Pi version other than 4B. Anyway, I have no complaints about this case. Easy assembly, everything fits. Connectors, especially microHDMI connectors, ensure a reliable cable connection. I mention this because I had an issue with another case where the microHDMI connectors went too deep into the case for a solid connection. This got me very…

Great little box for the money

Pros Very good at dissipating heat from the Pi Multiple caps feel comfortable Easy to open cap is great Heatsinks feel comfortable Caps include a slot for GPIO ribbon cable and camera cable Even has a small notch so you can see the power/status indicator. Cons: Clear rubber feet suck, don't stay in place, and are too small, but that doesn't matter too much. There aren't many side vents in the case. Thus, the airflow for the fan does not go through the heatsinks.

Pros
  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • Some small things
