Doesn't Deliver Reliable Protection

The charging protection for lithium batteries failed to meet my expectations. As my tests showed, it failed to prevent overcharging which can be detrimental to your automotive battery's life. The one pro was its affordable price. The con, however, is that it's ineffective and could potentially cause damage to your car's battery. I would not recommend this product to anyone in need of reliable charging protection.

Pros
  • Prevents overcharging and overheating of lithium batteries, ensuring longer lifespan and safer usage.
Cons
  • Requires installation and may negatively affect the aesthetics of the device.

Free regardless of power source

5.09V USB-C Charger = Free. A desktop power adapter that supplies 5.0V to the pins on the side of the USB-C connector still won't charge. LED1 "sparks" red and LED2 glows blue. Same battery, same case with Microusb TP4056 charges flawlessly.

Pros
  • Power Converter
Cons
  • High Price

It is not compatible with Smart USB Type-C Charger

Overall good product, but if you get the USB Type-C version, you'd better know that it's not with Smart USB - Compatible with Type-C chargers. So if you use a USB to USB Type-C cable and a USB charger, it will work. But it doesn't work with USB Type-C chargers like the latest iPhone or Oculus Quest. In this module, there must be an extra 5.1K resistor between the ground and CC lines to allow the Type-C charger to supply 5V to the connected device. .To do this you need to change it like I did…

Pros
  • Power Accessories
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price
