🗺️ Janlynn Cross Stitch Kit - 15x18 Inches - Olde World Map Review

I like the design but the kit is of very poor quality. The colors do not quite match what is shown in the design. This has a major impact on the end product. I'm also not a big fan of strands of pearls. Difficult to maneuver and maintain. The organization of the floss is almost unbearable, and it took some time to figure out which colors were which. Disappointing, I'll stick with Dimensions kits.

Nice looking but Janalinn needs better customer service. I ran out of a few colors and was told I'm not very good at cross stitch because they ran out. I've never had this problem before so I used leftover thread from other kits to finish. HUH. It was a top notch set and should have had more than enough floss no matter what. I will not buy from Janalynn anymore! Either way, the bottom line is 5 stars.

I'm about halfway through this project. It's nice to have an item to give my husband for his office. The colors are a little lighter than the picture, which may be more of a minus than a plus for some. This pattern has a lot of quarter stitches and few directions. So if you haven't done it yet, just google it. In this respect I would give 4 stars. Yarn quality is good. The fabric is a bit stiff. But the picture is very interesting with an artistic border. I enjoy doing this.

Beautifully designed counting cross with clear directions. I usually limit my cross stitch kit purchases to those from the Dimensions Gold Collection, but I really liked this design so I took a chance and ordered it. I have to say that I am very satisfied with the quality of this set. The fibers supplied are of high quality and the quality of the fabric is also above average. I just finished this pattern. It took me 14 months doing odd jobs (sometimes putting it off for weeks). I deviated a little from the scheme. I omitted some place names (China and India) because it would be odd to only list a few countries. I also didn't use beads and pearls because I felt they made the design cheaper.
