Adheres best to adhesives and sealants

I recommend using less water than indicated to start with, it seemed a bit runny so we chose not to remove the old mortar from the loose bricks on the landscape wall but instead used it as a to use glue. on the old mortar. It survived! And since we left the old mortar, it's hardly noticeable. This product isn't ideal for brick walls and doesn't claim to be, but it was the cheapest solution I could find and I'm happy to report that it worked. Cracked!

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Good but not great

Excellent mortar for mosaic projects

It was exactly what was advertised: a high quality, very finely ground mortar, excellent for small mosaic projects. There isn't much in this container, enough for a long time. I was recreating a fragment of an ancient Roman stained glass mosaic and needed a fine mortar to finish it. I also used it on another project and found that it takes paint really well too: you can use it as a base and then paint the joints if you end up needing a slightly different shade. It worked great and I was very…

Best grout I've found

I'm working on a mosaic table and I bought a tube of white sanded grout and it was amazing! I didn't realize what a great product this was until I went to Michael to pay for shipping this product. I've used coupons and everything for Michael's Mortar but this is a terrible product from them. I came back here and bought two shots of this grout to finish my project (hope it was enough). It's easy to work with and I really love the look it gives. This is literal perfection and I didn't realize it…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Ideal for any mosaic project!

I made two mosaic tables out of cut DVDs and used this grout in between. This is a very fine powder and if you don't get the right consistency it will either be too sticky or too lumpy to work with. With a little elbow exertion, it separated easily from the pieces of the mosaic. The little bucket actually covered the coffee table and round picnic table surfaces with very little room for patches or a second coat. So remember that if you have a big project, you should take two of these or one…
