Review on Jennifers Mosaics Powdered Sanded 2 Pound by Jeff Remol

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Ideal for any mosaic project!

I made two mosaic tables out of cut DVDs and used this grout in between. This is a very fine powder and if you don't get the right consistency it will either be too sticky or too lumpy to work with. With a little elbow exertion, it separated easily from the pieces of the mosaic. The little bucket actually covered the coffee table and round picnic table surfaces with very little room for patches or a second coat. So remember that if you have a big project, you should take two of these or one large size. It can come with pigments if you want something other than white (I believe it's sold separately). But white doesn't look bad at all. In my opinion, this makes the colors more visible on the details. I would suggest if you plan on using this for outdoor projects maybe try a top coat of resin or varnish as the grout seemed to crumble in some places even after drying. I applied a coat of resin to it and it looks amazing!
