Bought for the home gym

I built an incline board for my home gym. It's just an incline board that you do elevated squats on. I needed tape to keep my foot from slipping. I originally tried attaching the sandpaper to the board but it didn't seem secure as the backing wasn't adhesive. So I went with you. Now I have peace.

Bad item in Skateboarding

The item came in a large box that was undamaged. I was surprised when I pulled it out to see how poor the quality is. It is crushed and dried. The adhesive film was torn in half. The handle fell off in some places. I have shown one in the picture. This damage occurred before shipping. Why would anyone send it in as new and waste people's time?

Pros
  • Good item
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Pretty sticky tape. Use on a pistol and use on other things

I used this on a pistol for a little extra bolt handle for my left thumb. Works great but hasn't fired yet. I hope I'm not peeling my thumb! It was rolled up and has a few points of tension, but I don't use it to cover the deck. I'm sure I'll find many uses for it over time. This is also a pretty good value as sandpaper.

Good tape. Poorly packaged for shipping.

This is a good non-slip tape. I used to use it for a ladder on a boat. This time I ordered a sheet to keep the bars on my SUV in place. However, the sheet arrived curled so tightly that it was constantly wrinkled, exposing the glue behind the creases to the air. Only half of the sheet was practical. I would have sent it back but time was of the essence so I had to make do with what I had.

Good if you don't want to use it on a skateboard deck

Was creased and wrinkled in a few places. This is fine if you plan to cut it into small pieces for other uses, but full application to a skateboard deck is difficult and the product crumples and peels off the tape. In my experience, even if I can lay it on deck, it will likely start to peel where it has been affected by crease marks.

  • Decent performance

Amazing Sport Grip

This is an AWESOME product. I don't put it on a skateboard. I printed out the gun template and cut out about 13 full grips and had about 8 inches left. If I were going to do it myself again I would probably apply gentle heat with a heat gun after gluing on the grip tape to ensure a good grip. This stuff is very cheap compared to pre-made pens and there are tons of templates on the google machine. I will buy again!

easy. NO - griptape

ok i hate being that guy but i ordered a brand called black widow and it rolled very tight and peeled off right away and i found it to be pretty cheap i don't have a skate shop in close to my house so I figured I'd be bad at buying Jessup on Amazon and I'm not kidding about the fact that due to the crunch it was split in half and folded so tight it was in an envelope and It's absolutely awful that it's not that much stickier on the back that gets ripped off due to poor packaging. i give it 2…

  • cool product

Not only for skateboards

Used in place of a pistol grip. I found a template online that worked "most of the time", had to make a few edits to the template but once it's done and cut it's like holding a stickum gun. Seriously legal. The downside of this app? I wouldn't recommend carrying it in a holster if the handle is touching the skin. I believe that any prolonged movement will result in the epidermis being shaved off your body. Sometimes it's good, but not in this case. Definitely if it's good for my grip I think it

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Griptape Rainbow Ribbon End

For seasoned skateboarders, Jessup has no surprises. All I can offer you is a friendly reminder that this 60-foot roll can easily fit 21 decks (and if you're really careful not to cut off more than necessary, a whopping 22). The rest of this review is for people who are still getting the hang of it and aren't sure what brand of tape they need: The great thing about tape (unlike shoes and decks) is that you can reconsider. There are two kinds of tape in this world: good grip tape and bad grip…

  • Confident
