Read before buying - Levels

TAG. The label is very difficult to remove. I read several reviews after purchase and saw that several other people had issues with the label. I had to use a hacksaw to remove the label. I have used the product several times and it does a good job. But the magnet is terrible. The magnet doesn't hold the level at all. Do yourself a favor and spend a few bucks more to get a better level that doesn't require the use of a label removal saw.

Absolutely on the level of quality that lasts from generation to generation

Beauty always pleases. So don't be a fool and learn how to hang your art properly. While this may only help level the fruits of your labor for your walls, I'm here to tell you not to hang your art too high on the wall. The artwork needs to be hung on the wall 58.5 inches from the floor to the center of the painting/shelf/trophy animal head. Heed this advice or risk being criticized behind your back by so-called friends and toxic relationships.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and longevity from testers

  • Almost everything right

Works as intended: Measuring and marking tools

That's a good level for the price. Not the best out there and not the worst. I bought it to keep in my motorhome to use when leveling my caravan. It has a magnet and hangs on the frame while I start the camper. If you just need a torpedo level to align the image every now and then or check the level for other little things, this works great. I wouldn't leave it sitting in a journeyman's tool box day after day. Spend a little more and get a more solid level for this type of work. For a cheap…

Like everyone else...a giant plastic sign.

Just needed something smaller and simpler and didn't read the reviews when purchasing. When I received it I was confused by the large label and immediately went to check the reviews. I read that someone used a hacksaw to remove it! I was definitely upset, but I could just use a pair of pliers and knock it off until it finally came loose. The most disappointing 5 minutes of my life...Will I buy again? Probably not lmao. It does what it does but the label itself was such a disappointing part that

Disappointing but serviceable

The only good thing I can say is that it's a decent size and weight. The downsides are that it comes with an attached plastic hanger that is SECURELY attached to one end. It was difficult to remove. I think it should open when the two sides are separated, but it didn't. I was afraid to pry to avoid damaging the plastic level, but didn't see a clear way to remove it. Finally, I used a hacksaw to cut through the part that goes through the end of the level. Angry and frustrating. There is a…

Johnson Level & Tool 7500M 9 " Magnetic Plastic Torpedo Level

I bought two of these non-metallic 9" Johnson 7500M levels to replace a pair of similar old torpedo levels that were sold after a Decent made in the USA of red and gray plastic and feel like they'll hold up to my regular use at work. The level has a full-length magnetic strip on one edge for leveling on iron pipes, wires, and Also there is a V-groove for use with tubes and pipes on the other edge. I have found that I use plastic torpedoes more often than heavier aluminum frames as they carry my
