I really like the idea of this article, but it has its drawbacks. It is very difficult to drink, when the liquid becomes scarce, absorption takes over. The cork must be pulled to drink. The straw is too soft and easily deformed, so the straw cover is no longer suitable.

I don't know why, but when used with soda, there is a lot of foam in the straw. You feel like there must be a hole somewhere because it looks like poor suction, but there isn't a hole because the soda turns to foam. It makes it very difficult to drink soda. I haven't tried it without soda yet. I will be using these straws as a game for Christmas. The winner is whoever drank a certain amount of lemonade the fastest. I think it's going to be pretty fun.

I bought this when I ride my motorbike and want to drink at bus stops without taking off my full face helmet. Several test runs showed that this is exactly what I wanted.
