The camera is good just need to calibrate the speed monitor. Installation was straightforward if you have a sedan but instructions were not fully explained. When you install the rear view camera, it will be easier for you to put it on the window, or if you don't want to drill a hole in the back of the trunk and mark the position of the camera with blue tape, this will help you, because you will one day Remove 3 meter tape and there is no turning back. This DVR is amazing. Very simple and easy to install. Mirror DVR installed in minutes. Installing the rear view camera and GPS receiver took 30 minutes. The picture quality is excellent. Installed a reversing camera on the trunk lid near the license plate. I have a 5% tint on the rear window, too dark to get a clear picture. Outside, the car worked better for me. All in all, this is a wonderful purchase. Definitely recommend.

The best deal I've found for the largest screen size. Bought for a 32ft RV although it already has a backup camera. The problem is that the built-in camera is aimed almost directly at the bumper, which isn't very good for the rear view. And the inside rear-view mirror is almost useless when trying to see through that small rear window back there. Daytime video quality is the same as most DVRs I've used. Quality is abysmal at night, largely because this camera doesn't handle glare from light sources well. The light from this source looks four or five times larger than it really is. You'll also see excessive video compression resulting in severe distortion, especially (but not limited to) night shots. The dashcam is amazing...when it wants to work. The quality of the front camera is good and very clear. However. Sometimes it's difficult to find the right exposure. Recorded files seem to be stored in different folders at random. In a folder, recordings are displayed on the screen for playback and these files are played on my computer, if the files are in a different folder, they cannot be played on the monitor or PC. Writing files to a fast Class 10 U3 SD card takes a long time, and while it's happening you'll see a yellow bar at the bottom of the monitor indicating that the file is being written to painfully slowly.
