Great size for little ones, but could be made better

This was the best seat height for our little one. The assembly was easy. But upon use I've noticed that the child drops the bike when getting off and the handle pads split immediately. The rubber is actually thin plastic and cracked at first drop. The seat is also hard to lock into place; it tends to slide down for him. However, this size bike (10/12") did fit our 3' child well.

Pros
  • The bike has a footrest, which helps children learn how to balance
Cons
  • May not offer enough support for children with disabilities

Great bike best in my review

I got this for my son’s 2nd birthday - he immediately wanted to get on it! Every time that he sees it now, he has this same reaction. He is still learning how to actually use it. I think that it seems like a pretty good quality, so it should hold up once he is moving on his own.

Pros
  • Best Gift for Young Kids - JOYSTAR Roller Kids Balance Bike is a a durable bicycle without pedals to teach children how to ride a bicycle at an earlier age. With a low-step frame, EVA foam wheels, wide footrest, soft rubber grips and a soft saddle, this is the perfect first bike for any child that is ready to start riding.
Cons
  • May not provide enough room for growth

Good purchase: my feedback

Only complaint was I with the handlebars could come up a little bit more but on the highest they aren’t high enough for my child but otherwise my daughter really likes it and it has held up over very rocky areas.

Pros
  • The bike is a great way for children to develop their social skills, as they can ride with friends and siblings
Cons
  • May not provide enough resistance for children to build endurance

Wonderful bike! We love it.

Our daughter is 3 and she loves her bike. It is teaching her to balance and I love the confidence it gives her riding it all by herself. We got her brother another balance bike then decided to get her this one. They ride them all the time and have a blast.

Pros
  • Gift
Cons
  • Assembly required

Wrong bike: my feedback

This bike is a nice bike, However I originally ordered the black bike as seen in the picture with 12 inch tires. But they sent us a 10 inch tire bike. So we sent it back, they sent us a 12 inches bike but it was a bright blue bike without the foot rests.Although we kept the bike and our

Pros
  • The bike helps develop a child's spatial awareness, which is essential for learning
Cons
  • May not provide enough steering control for children

Perfect size for a little rider

We bought this bike for my four year old for his birthday. It was super easy and quick to put together. He loved it but took a little while to warm up to actually ride it and now he's riding all over the place. He likes to get going fast and put his feet on the little deck. This is a pretty small bike and he will outgrow it before he's 5, but he has a little brother who will be waiting for it when he gets a pedal bike. I think the average kid will be able to learn to ride a real bike after…

Pros
  • The bike helps children develop their sensory and spatial awareness
Cons
  • May not provide enough stability on bumpy roads

Not very sturdy, but still a good purchase!

Not the best quality. BUT I think you get what you pay for. For the price, it’s still great. Very easy to assemble. Light weight, so easy to carry. Gets the job done. It’s also very cute, and my daughter loves it.

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • May not be comfortable for long rides

Good option for low price point!

Super cute bike, easy to assemble and perfect size for my tall three year! Quality is obviously lacking a little as the tires are already losing most of their traction after about a month of use and the seat/handlebar materials don’t feel like they’re going to hold up for very long, but kind of expected based on price!

Pros
  • The bike is suitable for children of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced
Cons
  • May not allow for customization by children

Good option. for my opinion

Solid balance bike but Im uncertain if it will last under heavy outdoor use. I get that the tires are airless, which I think is great, in concept; but I was thinking they would be a better quality for the price, softer rubber. instead they are rigid, almost foam-like. We’ll see how it holds up. fine so far.

Pros
  • The bike is designed with safety in mind, with a front and rear handbrake for easy stopping
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in high traffic areas

Super light but front steer gets misaligned

Super light so doesn’t hurt the little toes. seems sturdy, but occasionally I need to realigned the front wheel with the handle. Can with tools but still need a wrench. my older 6yr old likes it better than the 2 yr old I bought this for. Still a little too high even tho 10 in was the shortest bike. Plastic wheel so I don’t worry about leaking or pumping, soft feud leather seat can raised up for my 6 yr old. But both kids lost interest now it’s the ‘injured horse’ for pretend play in living…

Pros
  • The bike is easy to clean with just a damp cloth
Cons
  • May not be comfortable to sit on for long periods of time

Comparable to more expensive brands

We spent a lot of time researching balance bikes and I like that this seems comparable to more expensive bikes but for half the price. I wish the seat went an inch lower as it is currently too tall for our twin girls. The strider seat can sit as low as 11 inches whereas this one is 12.6 inches. However, every other balance bike I looked at was around 13.5 inches. So, it does sit lower than most. Our bike came with scratches on the handlebar. Not enough for us to return it but a bit…

Pros
  • The bike is adjustable, so a child can grow with it
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children who are visually impaired

Excellent buy! best in my review

Wanted to but my son a new balance bike as the used strider he was riding was just grimy and the handles were falling apart, was on the fence between buying this and the more expensive Strider and I’m so glad I chose this one. Super easy to assemble, has much better color options than the strider, was less money and my son loves it. Rides it ever single day.

Pros
  • The bike has a low center of gravity, which helps prevent accidents and falls
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children who are too tall or too short

As advertised in my review

As advertised. A good beginner bike for a toddler, and it can be used indoor and outdoor. Good enough construction to be able to take a beating.

Pros
  • The bike was easy to assemble and is so stinkin cute!
Cons
  • Not suitable for rough terrain

Perfect balance bike!

Really impressed with this balance bike. Lightweight, easy to assemble, and the perfect size for my (large) 3 year old. A lot of people weren't thrilled with the foam wheel, but it's pretty durable and I've had 0 issues with it. Also the 8 year old neighbor girls scoot about on it as well, and it's not chipped or compressed in anyway.Love it!

Pros
  • The bike is recommended by pediatricians for promoting physical activity and healthy development
Cons
  • May not have enough storage for children to carry belongings
