Not suitable for PEX 3/8 " pipe

Product does not meet specification for 3/8" PEX pipe. The serrations are too large and do not allow the hose or PEX ring to fit onto the hose to place Barb waste of money.

Surprise Bonus Valve

While my expectations were not very high, this turned out to be a beautifully made little check valve. I installed as part of the first flush mounted rain diverter for our rain collection system. It does its job well and should last for years, even outdoors. What impressed and surprised me is that it's closer to a set - it includes two stainless steel clamps. Nice gesture.

The ideal solution for disconnecting the fuel line of a marine diesel engine.

Solid brass, nice tight fit. The valve body has the manufacturer's identifying emblem, like the Horiznext valves that include clips for $2 more. I looked at Lowes, Home Depot, Ace. These 3/8" double diameter hoses and ball valve are used to shut off the fuel line to and from my boat diesel tank. I was just filling a 20 gallon tank and found a deformed head and a blown gasket. It was time to to take the engine out for repairs, but there was no way to disconnect the diesel from the tank.
