Great thermometers!

Great pair of fridge and freezer thermometers. I keep one in both the fridge and freezer. I do not vouch for their accuracy other than that they agree with each other. I recommend them to make sure all parts of your fridge are as cold as you think they are. The safe area is marked on every thermometer for fridge and freezer! And on top of that they are very cheap! (Note: the top metal tab is very thin so you can wrap it around any wire shelf you might have in it. It will hang there without…

Good thermometers: kitchen and dining room

Thermometers came quickly in the mail. Having just bought a new fridge, I was curious as to what temperatures the fridge and freezer operate at. (Issued by factory settings). I put both thermometers in the fridge first and after a couple of hours I put both in the freezer. The readings were strikingly similar in both "tests" - the fridge was around 35 degrees and the freezer around -10 degrees. They're a little smaller than I thought, but the color-coding of the dials allows me to quickly tell…

You cannot put it in the fridge or freezer.

Nice that it comes in a 2-pack. I wanted to use one in my freezer and the other in my fridge. However, neither in the freezer nor in the fridge have I found a place where it would be convenient to hang it. The edges of all door compartments are too thick for the hook of these thermometers. It is not convenient to put them on a shelf as they will tip over. In the freezer I can hang this on a metal shelf, but then the thermometer is on its side and I can't read it. As for the fridge, I finally…

Not exactly. - Thermometers and timers

These thermometers are not accurate. Don't waste money. I put them in my new GE fridge and even though the fridge was set at 37 degrees, the thermometer read 28-32 degrees. We called GE because we thought the device wasn't setting the temperature correctly. The technician connects his laptop to the device and runs a diagnosis. Nothing. It collects the temperature history. On its screen you can see the temperature, including the minimum, maximum and average temperature, by the hour over several…

Accurate and easy to read.

My fridge is about eight years old and I wanted to keep an eye on the temperature in case it starts to wear out. These thermometers are the answer. They probably don't meet scientific standards, but they're fit for purpose. I found that the readings of the two thermometers differed by about two or three degrees at room temperature. When I set it up next to a known-accurate thermometer, the true temperature seemed somewhere in the middle, so I'd rate it as fairly accurate, at least at room…
