Enhance Water Flow in Your Aquarium with SunSun JVP-201 Wavemaker Powerhead Pump Review

The suction cup doesn't hold up so I had to modify it with a piece of plastic. Now it's stuck and won't move. Otherwise an excellent product.

In the video my fish tank, salt water, so far it works great, no strange noises, only 4 days have passed since I installed it which has been great all the way easy by the way so I'll update this post in about a month or so even if it stops working, slows down or crashes

The quality is good, the circulating performance does not correspond to the declared. So I may have to buy another one for my 80 gallon reef tank. The propeller spins, but the power and water circulation are normal, not very strong. The dispensing head is adjustable so you can point it where you want it and it's nice that the suction stays where you want it. All in all, for the price, I would recommend this to anyone.

Not the best because of cheap suction cup feet. I ordered 3 and one broke on initial installation, the second broke trying to adjust it in the tank after losing suction. That being said, you can't beat the value of what you get. The printheads worked great and definitely delivered the advertised water speed. If the suction cup bases weren't so cheaply built it would be 5 stars. Pay a few dollars more for the magnetic base model and save yourself some headaches.

The pump has lots of power and moves water well in my 90 gallon aquarium. Just a word of great care, reason for 4 stars. The pump has a large opening when I have it connected to a timer to turn it on and off. I was lucky enough to see that my medium sized fish love settling in the impeller. I think this area should be more closed to prevent this. Also, this pump is excellent for the price, unfortunately I cut the line to bring the fish home for $13, not a huge loss. Update May 2021 - Pump broken after 9 months. A few months ago I noticed a bare wire on the cable and the suction cups broke. While initially I loved this pump. I feel like it broke pretty quickly. Incredibly powerful current even at the bottom of a 120 gallon tank. I use it to clear dirt from the bottom of the aquarium. They do a great job and the YBS turtle loves to play with the current. Much quieter than I expected, I can't even hear it over the tank, air pump and other mechanical things. I

I like its power! My Oscar has grown a lot bigger since I installed it. But the attitude towards it is pretty bad. In my aquarium it keeps detaching from the glass because the locking lever is reversed. If it was set up the way it's supposed to be, I'd be thrilled. It still works like the day I bought it and I have it in my 55 gallon tank. It collects a lot of food, so of course I had to put it deeper in the tank. Sure, the plastic parts on this device are cheap, but it works well and is quiet. I can understand the negative reviews for the quality but for the price I'm impressed. It stays in place, but I wouldn't bother too much if you can avoid it. It delivers really good flow, even if 1585 gph is overpriced, and the jets are a nice bonus so you can direct the flow.
