Doesn't fit all bird cages

Maybe it's just my bird cage, it's about 4ft tall and the door doesn't slide up and down like my little cheap cage door. I have to modify this feeder a bit to fit my cage, but it was cheaper than PetCo and feels like hard plastic.

A good chunk of seeds will pop up the first time.

Works well. Unfortunately, when you start filling it through the top hole, a lot of seeds will fly out when it's empty. The feeder bowl is also very shallow so my bird wastes a lot of seeds falling out of the bowl when searching for her favourites. :-(

We needed a feeder to replace a broken one we loved

We needed a feeder to replace our broken one we loved. Judging by the picture I thought it would be great but the description says it fits all the cells - WRONG! We have three different cells and none of them work! We had to return it - we still couldn't find one as good as the one we're trying to replace.

I had to put a plate underneath to keep the seeds from disappearing entirely. Now they just eat off the plate

NOT SUITABLE FOR PARROT SEEDS! I bought these for my parrots. I only filled it halfway (about 8 scoops). After 20 minutes everything was at the bottom of the cage. I had to put a plate underneath to keep the seeds from disappearing entirely. Now they only eat off the plate. Too bad I didn't keep the packaging, I could have sent it back. It can be suitable for larger bird seeds. But the rest of the product looks solid.

I was looking for a feeding trough that could be placed outside the small cage and didn't have to be constantly refilled. But the chaos that ensues is annoying. The food in the tube cannot contain it. I had to insert a strip of cardboard to hold the seeds in, but even that didn't work very well. The only good thing was that it fit well outside of the cage and was big enough for larger seeds to fit in the feeder bowl. I won't be buying this or anything like that again.

Good cockatiel feeder

Originally the cockatiel cage was equipped with a conventional feeder. They eat seeds, not pellets, so after peeling the seeds off the top they wouldn't notice there were still seeds on the bottom. This feeder fits into an existing built in slot and seems to work pretty well. I haven't had any problems with traffic jams. The tray sticks out just enough for my cockatiels to grab if they want to get really close and there are holes in the bottom for the cases to fall through. The wings on the…
