Never use an abrasive material such as a brush or scouring pad to clean surfaces. Up to 6 months of battery life (uses 4 AA batteries, not included). Bolt Spread: 2 inches. Choose between two brightness levels: a soft glow or a brighter illumination. Illumination cycle with automatic 7-hour nightlight. Battery-operated - no electrical cords required. It works, but next time I would choose a detachable seat with handles.

My child doesn't want to poop on his wearable seat cover anymore because this seat is so great. My rechargeable AA batteries lasted about 7 months on the first round. Considerations: While the seat can be easily removed for cleaning, there is a fine line between being too tight and too loose and the seat will wobble. I don't like cleaning all over the world, wish it wouldn't touch the toilet. Only one guest tried to sit in the booster seat and confessed/asked why the seat was so small. lolโ€ฆ

I would give my last one 4 stars because it has held up well and been great for my kids.

I had the same seat for a few years but bought a new toilet. I would give my last one 4 stars because it has held up well and been great for my kids. The only negative point was the night light design and a 4 year old boy with a bad aim didn't work and after a few months the battery box looked like it was on the Titanic. Long story short it broke when replacing the toilet so I ordered TWO new ones instead of 1. Both came with broken clasps! Not sure if it was Kohler's problem or just theโ€ฆ

Needs a lot of work

I've had this for about a year with a toddler who is potty trained. Pros: Big seat and small seat -Light -Turns off to clean -Shuts softly Cons: -Light broke very quickly. To their credit, the manufacturer replaced it. Which also broke quickly. The light is badly sealed. This means the cavity it lives in is poorly sealed and the circuit board isn't well protected from things you don't need in the light. Batteries get slimy from things you don't want to touch. The light is largely obscured byโ€ฆ
