🔍 Optimized Fuel Filter - K&N PF-2500 Review

Installed about a year ago, works fine. Suitable for 2000 v6 4.3 s10 Xtreme. Just make sure it's facing the right way and is snug enough on the fuel line.

Tried 2 different orders for this part. Attention buyers, what is in the box is not what is in the photo. The box is marked PF-2500, the picture on the box is item PF-2400.

Revain said it would fit my 2001 2.2L S10 but it definitely didn't. I am extremely disappointed. I don't know how much longer my truck will run before the old filter is completely clogged.

I found it very difficult to screw the threaded end of the filter onto the steel gas fitting (it would not screw in) and after carefully examining the internal threads of the filter I found that they were poorly finished and should have been disposed of. I would send it back to Revane but the return period has expired.

I put a K&N filter on 03 S-10. This would be a job for a slightly more experienced and well equipped mechanic in my opinion. This is a little tricky, so having a good selection of tools makes it easy, especially if you prefer a face and shirt without the usual 89. Wear safety goggles. I originally bought a K&N PF-1000 filter because by all accounts on planet earth this fuel filter is compatible with my 2002 Chevy Tahoe. We quickly found that this wasn't the case as the inlet side fitting was a nut and not a small pressure tube that goes into the fuel line.
