Fits 2005 Chevy Suburban Z71

I have a 2005 Chevy Suburban Z71. Everything fits perfectly. I didn't have to go to the parts store for anything. This kit contains everything you need to replace front brakes and discs. The rotors look great and are well made. Break-in isn't that bad, reading the brake box sounds like a nightmare. I found Dead Road at 10 and took about 5 minutes. I can almost stop for a dime if I have to. I would definitely buy them again. The kit came with both front brake discs and a total of four front…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • I'm mad

Fits perfect and looks great and STOP GREAT.

I have had slotted and recessed EBC rotors with another well known pad brand for several years. Either Wagner or Raybestos. I can't remember which one. They have always had very poor cold stopping performance. The pads we wear stick to the rotors, filling in the grooves and crevices and making them very rough. I installed the rotors and power stop pads, disassembled them exactly according to the instructions and they work very well. The truck stops smoothly with no noise and they work well when

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Quality

Always clean brake discs with brake cleaner.

Previously good brakes are no longer good, they are heavy, I will change the rating if they turn out to be rubbish etc. but I'm sure they will be ok. Updating the review I had issues with this or thought my car had a screw when stopping. I certainly thought it was power lugs, broken rotors, or warping, but after purchasing other new axles from Detroit, my car did the same. This happened after the brakes were warmed up, it doesn't stop properly. Well, I found this out while researching the rear…

Pros
  • always liked
Cons
  • not everything fits

Check if they fit your vehicle. Plus, they're a great upgrade.

We bought this set and it arrived quickly. We ordered these for our 2005 Silverado SS and they fit perfectly. Play it safe. We checked before purchasing to make sure the parts would fit. Most of the issues we saw in the reviews were due to them not fitting the car they were ordered for. If you have a Silverado with rear drums it's important to check the manufacturer's website to make sure you got the right ones. We installed them, everything fits, we ran the break-in and these brakes work…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
