. As soon as the box was opened it was clear that this is the original body of the Tiguan SWB. The good news is that you get your money back. Bad news: nobody wants to buy this because they say it doesn't fit in the SWB Tiguan. Takes up space in the garage for no reason.

I have a long drive downhill to work and my stock brakes were deformed and sounded like train brakes so people flinched or flinched when my car stopped and they only had 35,000 miles. I had Z23 brake kits installed front and rear and I can tell you the discs are larger than stock and there is very little brake dust on the brakes. Stop is flawless after about 1500 miles. I would say that I have tested them enough and can recommend them to others.

Installed this kit on a 2015 VW Passat TDI. Took me about 1.5 hours and I'm only moderately mechanical. Tools required: C-lamp, 17mm socket or factory nut remover, 21mm socket, 7mm allen wrench, T30 Torx bit, screwdriver, jack and jack stand. The calipers and discs came off very easily. New discs look great, new pads too. The hack is simple and easy to perform. I ended up using a jack without a stand and doing it one side at a time. The trade winds don't really have big kicks.

Installed discs and pads on my 15 VW Passat last night. I think I have carbon ceramic brakes. I would go for regular ceramic brakes, but these days they work well, especially on long periods of braking (ramps, long climbs, etc.). They fit exactly like OEM. The rotors have 2 hole patterns, but that's a godsend, the set screw and hole only match the VW hole pattern. I didn't have brake pad wear sensors on my car, I cut the line. You are quiet. If I remember I will post an update.

I have long drives and a lot of traffic jams. I drive a 2016 Passat and the factory brakes and discs wear out pretty quickly. There was also an incredible amount of dust on the front rotors. I literally cleaned my car and by the middle of the week the rims were black. I took a chance on them based on some reviews and couldn't be happier. Stops instantly, no more judder or brake dust and they look great on the car. These are large rotors, almost twice the size of the original rotors.
