This product is much more than just an excellent ice scraper. Since it's not brittle or sharp like a knife blade, I used it on stainless steel (no scratches); parquet floors (no scratches); Quartz and marble countertops (no scratches). I liked them so much I bought 10 more to give to friends.

You can't really argue with the indestructible KA-BAR products. This is probably the last ice scraper you'll ever need unless you lose it or something. Pros: Hard plastic, keeps ice off the rim, small so it fits in a door pocket or glove box. Cons: Jagged hard plastic edge, small size means less force to press with both hands.

Bought on behalf of Kabar but very small. Rigid but very small and light. If you scratch the windshield, it is so small that there is a risk that your knuckles will scratch the ice when using it. This Ka-Bar ice scraper has a high-quality finish. This is a heavy duty plastic with a sharp 5 inch blade. In general it is small. I know all about cleaning windshields because I live in Massachusetts. Ka-Bar should make an extra larger model with a slight blade curvature. I will buy another one for my other car. This scraper already has small nicks on the blade, which is not a good sign for a supposed "newcomer". Whether it is or not, I can't seem to get more than a third of a blade into my car's windshield no matter what angle or pressure I try. I scrape and only part of the blade actually loosens the ice. This thing is good for ice and slush! The flat scraping surface is very effective for getting under the ice to really break it up. A lot of crappy scrapers you get elsewhere slide on the ice surface and become streaky/unstable. This thing clears a path the full width of the ledge.
