Do not be shy . They cut like a dream

I make throw pillows for a living so I cut and trim a lot of fabric. After a year and a half of working full-time, I finally realized I needed to ditch my poor quality scissors and invest in a good pair. I bought these Kai scissors as well as a pair of Ginghers. I don't know what people see in Ginghers. Mine are so cumbersome to use. My Kais cut fabric like a dream and are comfortable to wear too. Highly recommended! I will buy a second pair because my mom and husband sometimes help me cut the…

Don't worry about anything except Kai's scissors.

My wife is a seamstress and makes memory bears but she never thinks about the tools she uses. After watching her struggle with cuts and pain in her fingers, I decided to do some research. All the sewing forums and blogs have kept coming back to Kai as the number one pair of scissors. The 7250 arrived before Christmas and I was dying to give it to her. It's hard to describe how amazing these scissors are to use. They literally cut through multiple layers with ease. We went through 16 layers for…

The best scissors I have ever used

Take your t-shirt, fold it in three, take one of these layers and fold it so you have 8 layers. This is what I do when I take off old shirts to make a patchwork quilt. These scissors cut through as if it were a single layer of fabric. Smoothly, without binding, without tension. Cloth might as well be oil, it cuts through so easily. I love these scissors. Everyone I've tried has been amazed at the difference. My daughter got a left handed pair, my niece ordered a pair and my sister is about to…

10 " vs 9 " scissors

I really like Kai 7230 9" scissors, they deserve more than 5 stars. I wanted slightly longer blades and settled on the 10" Kai 7250. To my dismay, I found that their blades are only a few millimeters longer and the handles are a full inch larger. Oh god I couldn't even control them. Both scissors are of excellent quality The craftsmanship is outstanding Smooth and sharp blades Light weight making it easy to cut any fabric Designers of modern scissors have the odd notion that good ergonomics…

Kai shears are absolutely the best!

Kai 7250 Professional 10 inch scissors that make cutting fabric for my business and home use so easy and enjoyable! I bought these after buying a pair of small scissors from Kai Professional and found that my old sewing scissors from another brand were causing pain in my hand. Despite severe carpal tunnel syndrome and nerve damage from nerve compression in my cervical spine, I was still able to cut fabric to order without adding to my daily pain. Now, after the carpal tunnel operation and the…

THE BEST SCISSORS I HAVE!

I bought a pair of these and fell in love immediately. They're sharper than any pair of ginghers I've ever owned and they fit my hand perfectly. I bought my sister in law a pair and she thought it was funny that I got her a pair of scrap shears for Christmas until she practically cut off her own finger fiddling with them like they were FIskars or some cheap brand. how is it. She called me trying to stop the bleeding and said these were the hottest things she had ever touched! Last year when she

The best scissors! I've been sewing for 40 years.

Let me first say that I love these scissors. (Can you love scissors - turns out you can.) Expensive but worth every penny. My hands are now a bit stiffer than before and so I started to think I needed something else, maybe something sharper. I've mainly used Gingher's as well as Singer and Fiskars and they all worked well. And I've worked with many types of fabrics and leathers over the years, making clothing, tents, sleeping bags, guitar cases, down jackets and upholstered chairs. , sun sails…

Smooth; smooth. Continuous. The best scissors ever.

I bought these for general use despite having a lot of sail building experience. I usually had Scotch, Fiskars, Stanley and lots of $8 general use scissors. I had professional sewing scissors from Gingher, Wiss and Fiskars. These scissors are better than any other and cost ½ to ¼ the price of professional scissors. The metal used in their manufacture is excellent. Much better than the high carbon chrome material they use in Ginghers, the cheap stainless steel they use in others. These are…

I wish I could give more than five stars!

O.MY.WEALTH. The pattern is about 20% cut, new scissors have arrived so I rushed to my cutting table to try them out! (Don't worry the scissors were pointing down, never run with scissors! LOL) Excitedly I cut off about 12 inches from the edge of the sleeve and was so impressed I had to stop and write this review. You are amazing, SIMPLY AMAZING! Cutting fleece is like cutting through warm butter, no drag, smooth as silk. The grip is incredibly comfortable and fits my hands perfectly. I see…
