This kettle is small and light. The water gets hot quickly and the finished color looks great in my kitchen. Good kettle for the money.

Kettles aren't high tech and this kettle is perfect for what it needs to do. The only "too bad" is how quickly the whistle goes from soft to full. If you are in another room, you should hurry.

The kettle is very pretty and I like the color but it's too small and doesn't look like it actually has 2.5 litres. This may be fine for someone else, but I need something that can make a full pitcher of iced tea.

I like the color (purple), I was expecting a slightly heavier teapot than this. Feels like aluminum even though it says "stainless steel" on it. It's not my everyday teapot so it's ok. I wish it was harder work than it is.

this kettle looks great but is very cheaply made, the lid leaves do not open, the handle turns red after cooking, i have already used it, otherwise i would send it back, it goes to the flea market! very dissatisfied disappointed

This teapot is cute and whistles even when I pour exactly one cup of water. It's also easy to clean. I just towel dry it when I'm done and so far there hasn't been any rusting. There is a slight burn mark (I have a gas range) on the bottom 3 inches of the white paint, but this is normal. I am very happy with it and recommend it.

I really wanted this as it's purple and I needed a new kettle as the one I've had for over 20 years finally broke. Well, I should have listened to the review for that and kept looking. Unfortunately, I have not. It worked for about four months, and then the lid snapped off with a whistle as the part melted. What is a kettle that doesn't whistle?
