Big mess, not a complete mess

Sorry, but this is garbage. I tried twice. My wife pointed out that it's mostly corn that the birds just throw away. Don't waste money. It's Big Mess, not No Mess. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I'm committed to protecting potential future buyers.

Not suitable for birds

I have tried this food in two different feeders with the same result - the food sticks together in the feeder, gets moldy and has to be thrown away. In fact, it's quite difficult to get out of the feeder. This has never happened to me before with any other bird food.

Good value for money but no mess.

Finches, doves, and tits in my area love seeds, but they all sprinkle corn chips. Squirrels use nuts that smaller birds won't eat. Ever since Audubon Park removed sunflower seeds from "No Mess" seeds, we've been buying Kaytee Ultimate No Mess seeds and the birds seem to love them. I won't say it's really "no-mess" because the little birds will scatter anything they don't like.

Very different from the advertised product!

The online image of this bird seed (attached, first photo) suggests that the seed mix for this product contains many different types of bird seed, which is what I was trying to order. I ordered 2 x 10 pounds and was very disappointed to see that 70-80% of the mix was millet (attached, second photo) and the mix had an unusual smell. The previous mix I used attracted a lot of birds, which disappeared when I put in the new bird seed. Millet is an inexpensive filler that I can buy from any cheap…

Popular with birds and eaten quickly

When this arrived from Revain I poured it into an empty cat litter container (large jug with handle) which is very easy to dispense (and store). Until now it has been very popular with house finches, sparrows and cardinals (all of which fit on the tiny shelves of a feeder), as well as pigeons and robins, which eat fallen seeds from the ground (most of which grow). wild mustard at the moment). I have a great video of a squirrel jumping off a fence to a feeder and also scattering all the seeds. I

Expensive but worth it

I use a good quality wild bird feed mix year round starting in the spring. less expensive traditional seed mix. I have about 200 birds that fly to my feeders so they scatter the seeds but the sparrows seem to be doing a pretty good job feeding between the seeds on the ground. I noticed that many sunflower seeds are thrown on the ground and spoil, and sparrows most often do not eat them. I finally decided to try a zero waste brand and I'm glad I did. . Birds still scatter things, but sparrows…
