🧭 Keenso High Precision Dash Car Compass: Adjustable Auto Boat Compass for Car Marine Boat Ship Review

I installed this compass on my car dashboard, it shows the right direction within 30 degrees. There is no adjustment on the device, if your diligence is in the right direction, this compass will work.

The rim needed to be glued because it cracked and didn't stick, and the double-sided tape didn't stick, but I will buy more tape. All in all, as long as it was properly calibrated, I think that was all that mattered.

This compass is great! As long as you only drive north. Or SZN. Because that's what this compass showed us in the 4 days we tried it. I wonder how we drove from Boston to Washington back then. I'm not a geographer, but I'm sure Washington is south of Boston.

For about a dozen dollars this compass does the job. It works well as a good backup compass, no frills. I like its size because it's small and fits in a tight spot on the boat's dashboard. It is approximately 3 inches high and 3.5 inches deep. There's no light, but I don't need it. Comes with an adhesive pad or sit however you like.

This compass worked fine until I tried installing it on the dash where it ONLY reads West-Northwest no matter what direction my car is facing. If I remove it from the dashboard and mount it on the TOP of the car from the outside (pointing in the same direction), it's right again. This makes this compass completely unusable.

It's very easy to tell where the north is. unfortunately not on my device. :(I was going to install this (along with an inclinometer) on my motorcycle's dashboard (because I'm an adult and can do it). But it means nothing for navigating freeways and country roads if the compass is pointing anywhere. but it's true , too bad the inclinometer is pretty cheap too, but at least it works.
