Great Adherence and easy to instal

I got it for my entrance door of my apt and was very easy to install, it’s close the gap that is between the door and the frame on the side that have the hinges. Now is no mor hot air coming from outside and isolated perfectly. So far is great adherence and stay in place. I’m very happy

Pros
  • It is easy to install and works but doesn't adhere very well.
Cons
  • It may not provide sufficient insulation for certain climates

This foam tape was used around the front screen security door of my home that we purchased recently. The hinge side of the door was properly sealed but the rest of of the door; the entire section that swings open/closes was left unsealed. This tape was the perfect solution. It’s easy to work with. It adheres very well and stays in place. But don’t worry, if you need to make adjustments and re-align in order to get the perfect seal, it maintains it’s tackiness.

Pros
  • Seals tightly around doors and windows to provide a sound barrier
Cons
  • It may not be effective in controlling drafts from multiple sources

Works Great! - my new review

This foam insulation has good, strong adhesive on the back that holds well once applies but does allow you to remove it and change position when installing. The foam is soft enough to compress and conform to the surface to seal completely.

Pros
  • Blocks out dust, pollen, and insects from entering through gaps
Cons
  • It may be difficult to install on large or heavy doors or windows

Lot of different uses. Very durable and sticks great.

I used this to line one off these standard plastic cup holders you have in pontoon boats and such. Works perfect for fitting 30 oz and 20 oz yeti type cups. The material is the neoprene type and sticks to cup holder very well.

Pros
  • Worked perfectly for what I needed it for!
Cons
  • It may not work on all types of doors or windows

Does the job but hard to peel off the roll

Probably 80% of the time when I tried to peel the tape off the roll, the top layer would just start peeling off. Not a big deal obviously but just something for others to consider! The one I got from Home Depot was much better

Pros
  • HVAC
Cons
  • It may not fit properly on irregularly shaped doors or windows

Look somewhere else

The 3m side rips the product off before you can even use it. Bought 1/4 and is smaller then 1/4. Definitely not worth it as you will destroy half of it trying to peel the 3m backing. Absolute junk just glad it was not to expensive but can’t return as I already started to use it. Don’t buy this crap.

Pros
  • Available for purchase online and in stores
Cons
  • It may not be as effective in sealing gaps as other types of insulation or weatherstripping

Poor quality, on my review.

This is poor quality. Disappointed. Can't peel off strip without tearing the foam. Very little adhesive. Won't stick to door jams. Don't waste your money on this.

Pros
  • Provides a tight seal without damaging the frame or window
Cons
  • It may not be suitable for use in all types of homes or buildings

Sticky good quality foam around filter opening

Foam is dense and one side is very sticky. I snagged a couple of places when installing. The white peel back liner can be hard to get started, but once started peels easy. I will be ordering more.

Pros
  • Provides a quick and effective solution to drafts and sound problems
Cons
  • It may not be suitable for use on doors or windows with existing insulation or weatherstripping

Excellent window insulation replacement

My windows are more than 20 years old, and the original weather stripping was dry rotted. This peel and stick was the perfect width and thickness, and it was very easy to measure and cut. Product arrived in a timely manner and in excellent condition. I will be ordering more.

Pros
  • Available in a variety of sizes to fit any door or window
Cons
  • It may not adhere well to certain plastic surfaces

Milsbo Cabinet best in my review

I used this for my Milsbo greenhouse cabinets, to help maintain humidity. It sticks really well and is very squishy so it molds to the doors. These work perfect.

Pros
  • Made of non-toxic materials, making it safe to use indoors
Cons
  • It may not be suitable for high-traffic areas

Great for insulating a 3D printer

Heat rises. So it was important to contain the heat as opposed to letting it escape through big gaps in the lid of my 3D printer (Flashforge Guider 2s). And keeping the heat inside of any 3D printer is important for consistent thermals when printing materials like ABS.

Pros
  • Easy to put up. It works great.
Cons
  • The adhesive may not stick well in extreme temperatures

Complete junk in my review

When attempting to peel the liner off the adhesive side the foam split in half and is now completely useless. The adhesive is so stuck to the liner than it ripped the foam rather than release. Ridiculous. There is also no place to contact the seller on this listing.AVOID THIS PRODUCT

Pros
  • Closed Cell Foam Strip—Adjustable and Flexible. The Neoprene sponge foam tape is easy enough to customize and cut to size with scissors or blade, and bend easily and conform to any shape.
Cons
  • It may not provide a tight enough seal to effectively control temperature

Used for Motorhome Slideout

I bought these to seal around my mothers living room slideout in her RV. Her's was old and falling off. These were thick and did the job for a whole lot less than the repair shop was going to charge even though its basically the same material they would be using. The foam seal went on easily and the only complaint i have is that the glue could have been a bit more sticky/tacky. I added a small bead of adhesive underneath the foam because i just did not trust that the glue on the foam would…

Pros
  • Excellent price and item as described!
Cons
  • Some users may find it difficult to apply without assistance

Soft Landing best in my review

I lined the holders on a wooden gun rack, as I didn't want wear marks to work into my rifles. It works great and so far is sticking perfectly well. I ran it continuously from top rack to bottom, which it think will work best as it leaves on open ends to start working loose. The material seems sturdy and I expect it to last a long time.

Pros
  • Can help reduce unwanted noise and provide some privacy
Cons
  • It may not work as well on doors or windows that are frequently exposed to moisture

Not Renter Friendly — Doesn’t Remove Well

I got this for my college apartment that was surrounded by frats to try to make it a little quieter, and it helped maybe a small amount but I don’t know if it was because of this product or the heavy curtains I put over my windows. However when my lease ended last month I could not for the life of me remove it from my windows. I ended spending hours trying different ways to get it off so I wouldn’t risk losing my security deposit. I ended up using a scrub daddy soaked in rubbing alcohol and…

Pros
  • Foam Strip Application—The adhesive foam strips are widely used in various door seal and window insulation, furniture, electrical cabinets, cars, speakers, toys, handicrafts, sports equipments, etc.
Cons
  • It may cause damage or discoloration to certain surfaces

Insufficient adhesion and diffcult to manage

I bought this weather stripping tape since it was 1/8" thick. The adhesion is very low and the tape easily peels off after applying to the surface. To make matters worse, the roll becomes a jumbled mess since it is not tightly wound like the name brand weather stripping rolls. Disappointing purchase

Pros
  • Foam Insulation Tape—The foam seal tape is made from environmental protection material Neoprene, which has excellent sealing and resistance to deformation feature, toxic free, can be used from -50℃ to 150℃.
Cons
  • It may not be easy to remove without leaving residue behind

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A Little Too Sticky

The adhesive sticks to the paper backing and peels right through the foam. The only method I found to get the paper off is to sacrifice about an inch of foam and for my purposes that is just unacceptable.

Pros
  • Easy to use as well as easy installation adheres nicely
Cons
  • Price was good shipped fast but did not stick very good already came off

Really nothing to say about it does what it says. You know what this is for and yes the adhesive will hold so if this size and thickness is needed go ahead and buy this.

Pros
  • Durable and reusable for years to come
Cons
  • It may not be easy to remove without damaging the door or window

Less Quality Than Other Brands

First purchased "Weather Stripping for Doors 2 Rolls 1/2" W X 1/4" T, Black Foam Seal Tape for Sliding Door Jamb, Front Door Frame Windows Insulation, 26 Ft Length (2 X 13 Ft Each)Sold by: YoTache"Loved the stuff then saw this product for a couple bucks less. Received a mass amount of this foam insulation but the quality seems less than my first purchase. Would recommend spending the few extra bucks and getting the better quality product .

Pros
  • Can be used in both summer and winter seasons
Cons
  • It may cause damage to certain types of flooring if removed
