Great product, great price

Great product, great price. I used ratchet straps as a safety device to prevent losing the ratchet if one of them came loose on the road. It dangles but doesn't get lost and can damage other vehicles. These bands are well made and appear to be very durable.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • No performance

It's handy how everyone gets off.

Bought for use with Warn Pullz Everything I just bought. I've found more ways to use both in a short amount of time than I could imagine. This is very handy for making quick connections around a tree, pivot, pole, etc. Super strong and appears to be very well made. Now he lives in a bag with an arsenal of other essentials for the rigging.

Convenient, durable, affordable price

A durable, practical part for all my towing needs. I've used it to chop down trees I've cut and uproot bushes. Saves me a lot of digging and makes felling trees safer. (Don't pull directly on the tree. It will hit your truck, loop the chain around another tree so you don't get in the direction of the fall. Obviously, but you never know.)

  • Nice packaging
Cons

Use for pulling brakes

Bought to attach to the frame of a homemade pasture gyroscope. I attached a piece to each side of the frame by bending it and then attached both to the clamp and then to my lawnmower with a very large carabiner clip. They have been used twice a week for the past month to carry the weight of cement blocks on a sledge and pull the shovel across the paddock. Has held up better than expected so far and shows no signs of wear. They served their purpose beyond use.

Great product for towing products and winches

Used this morning with another tow strap to get myself out of a snow drift. Needless to say, the product worked as advertised. My car weighs 4400 pounds, all four wheels are off the ground and it's stuck in a 3 foot snowdrift. I was able to slide it under the frame of my car with no problem. Pulled from the front. None of the attachment points were bent and none of the nylon was worn. I would say it's not difficult; carefree, perfect for everything, just getting back in the car in an emergency.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Ideal for tying ribbons.

Excellent strap for wrapping around a hard object and attaching a strap. Also ideal for hooking on lashing straps. Using this to attach a TD belt gives you a much better grip than hooking a TD belt hook to an axle or other part of the frame. I used it to extend the TD straps and as a center point to connect three TD straps that pull in different directions. Just be careful not to exceed the load limit of this belt as the maximum force on it is equal to the sum of all three belts.

Great axle straps on external accessories

I use two of these as UTV mounts on my trailer. It is secured with tires but they are fitted front and rear as safety hooks, front and rear to act as a retainer should the other straps come loose for any reason. I'm a fanatic about nothing unexpected happening out there in the trailer, so that gives peace of mind. As axial straps they have a very thick webbing and wrap over the webbing to ensure durability when used as ties. They just feel heavy and I would trust them for anything up to their…

Holds a heavy bag very well!

I use this strap to hang my heavy punching bag from an I-beam in the basement and it does the job perfectly. However, one thing I do is put a towel between it and the I-beam so the axle belt doesn't sit directly on the I-beam. I do this because I'm concerned that the micro-motion of the bag rocking back and forth right on the metal I-beam will eventually cut the strap at the axle and cause the heavy bag to fall to the floor. This hasn't happened to me yet, but I'm doing it as a precaution and I

Very comfortable and heavy

Excellent. I threw them into my rigging order in case I needed them and they eventually became key members of the sling team for the job. A pair of these allows you to select two points on the object (right and left) and both pairs of metal rings fit on the hook of my motor crane. Also, for some parts I attached a piece of 6ft webbing with loop ends and then threaded these shorts through the loops to connect to the crane hook. Update: Take my advice from experience: buy a pair, not one. For 2x…
