This is exactly what I've been looking for. The sound quality is amazing. It fits perfectly on the bookshelf in my office. I love the way it looks and the size is perfect. Easy to assemble. I have two other Keiid devices, an all in one stereo and a standalone receiver that are also based on the VW head unit. The one in this bookcase model isn't exactly the same, but is a little more intuitive to set up. And the remote control is better than other models. It was minor damage and I was hesitant to even return it, but in the end I decided to give it a try and get another undamaged system. I bought this KEiiD bookshelf stereo to replace the Aiwa shelving system I bought in Akihabara, Japan over 26 years ago and absolutely broke me.
