Nice bag for more than 6-8 discs. My only complaint is that the button on the lid has to have more than one connection point. If you pack the bag completely, it snaps into place nicely and keeps everything tight. When you have 4 slices in your bag the valve is free and allows everything to slide into the bag. Good first of all: the bag looks solid. The stitching is fine, the fabric looks durable and attractive. The bag is nice and light and is the perfect size for about 6 discs. You can use the front pocket for phone/keys/snacks etc and still carry 6, or use the front pocket for 3-4 more. Cons: The strap is quite flimsy and not stuffed at all. I am an amateur golfer who plays once a week in good weather on a wooded course. I wanted a bag that is minimalist but keeps the discs safe. After using this bag for several months I have no regrets. I use 7 discs in the main pocket and a racquet in the front pocket. It would probably be possible to slot the 8th plate into the main plate, but 7 feels perfect. I have had this Kestral disc golf bag since December 2017 and there are 3 other disc golfers in my family who have the same one just different colors. . Overall we like the size and capacity of the disc and using fewer discs (4-6 discs will do) can really help improve your game as you really need to learn how to throw what you have properly, to get different flight paths. I'm new to disc golf and had a Dynamic Disc Cadet bag but didn't like the color or the fabric so I ordered this Kestrel bag. I usually carry 6 discs with me. Received the bag Friday night. Unfortunately, the clasp on the Kestrel bag broke the first time I opened it! Straight out of the box. The metal latch broke in half. I needed a disc golf bag the next morning and used it (I had already loaned my Dynamic bag to someone else). I played the game on a Saturday morning and loved the padded strap.
