Edit (06/02/2020): I've been using the key fob for a little over a year and the cover has fallen off. It broke right in the bolt hole. I didn't drop or hit him. Broke by itself. All manufacturers do something like Simon to program the keys. These keys have a built in remote control and transponder programming is always required. So you program them twice. First I programmed the Remote Unlock/Lock (FOB). It worked well. You may have to try several times as the programming in your car may not be the latest version and timing is everything.
