16245100-29 Miss Match

The seller did a great job with my order! I ordered two pairs of key fobs 16245100-29 for my car. Both times, "match checker" Revain said no. The first set worked, but the second didn't. I'm ruling out my fault as the first set and the key fob that came with my used car didn't have a panic button. Revane clearly wants to farm and sell me but cannot match my car to the deleted "watch list". AI?

Pros
  • Great Design
Cons
  • Contact Seller

Ordered these for a 1999 Camaro and followed the instructions in the reviews and it was perfect! The hardest part was finding the fuse panel and removing the fuse. Both work, and one doesn't override the other, as one reviewer noted. If we run into problems I'll add them, but for now everything is great.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Not bad

it can be done by one person but better by two

What I didn't like about the key fobs was that they were advertised as compatible with my 1999 Chevy Tahoe but the panic button on the fob didn't work. at least the ones I could actually program but back then my original key fobs didn't have a panic button, maybe that's why it doesn't work, if it does then it really isn't compatible with my car and that should be stated in the goods description.

Pros
  • Permanent Test Results
Cons
  • Modern

Works well for 99 Trans Am

Works great. To program, open the driver's door and locate the fuse panel on the driver's side dash. You are looking for fuse 17 (lower right corner). Switch the ignition on (the combination lights up) and off, now pull the fuse. Shut down quickly to start 3 times and stop when you start the 3rd time. Locks are locked and opened. HOLD the lock and unlock buttons on the fob simultaneously until the locks work to confirm the programming. Use up to 3 remote controls for this. When finished, turn…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • boring packaging

ALSO OEM Fits Remote Starter

A few years ago I bought a '99 Tahoe. It had power door locks, and according to the build sheet I received from GM, it came with keyless entry from the factory but had no key fobs. Back then I went to my Chevy dealership and they told me yes they could order a remote but it was about $100 each and then programming them would cost another 50 so a pair of working remotes was over $300. So I kept putting it off. They cost less than $40 and I used easy to download instructions and both remotes…
