Like a glove! on keyless entry systems

Smooth as a goat's lip. The dealer wanted $110 for the blank, $60 for the programming. KeylessOption: 2 keys for $16, Home Depot will cut them for free. (Tell Home Depot not to tell the machine it's a remote key or it won't let you continue!). 2 minutes behind the wheel for programming. Nice!

Commodity marriage, lack of communication. My advice: AVOID THIS SELLER.

Paid for trimming then not programmed either with 2 original keys in car or dealer on his car - so they are DEFECTIVE. I called "Keyless Option" and left a message, no call back after 15 days. Poor quality/quality control + lack of communication = AVOID.

Great quality and price

This is my second purchase of these keys in about three years (they have held up), I still have the ones I originally bought and I need additional parts. Works great on my 2009 Ford Ranger. PS Ace cut both keys for me for the price of just one, it cost less than $2 and I was able to use the procedure in my car's owner's manual to program the new keys. For this you do NOT need original "factory" keys, just two keys that already work in your car and then you can program new ones. FYI, I can have…

Worth the money: Interior

Received blank keys today as promised. I went to Lowe's to have them cut. I asked Lowe to cut them out like they were NOT transponder keys. Lowe cut my keys for free. I couldn't program the buttons myself as I only had 1 master. The dealer charged me $60 to program 1 key. While I feel outrageous it was still $100 cheaper than if they provided the key and cut it out. I now had 2 master keys and was able to program the 3rd key myself using the simple instructions from the website provided. I now…

Works best with keyless systems

I took the keys to a local locksmith who not only cut the keys but offered to show me how to program the key into the car using my two original keys . I had instructions and thought how hard it could be, but didn't mind watching him. Of course, the first key wasn't programmed and he laughed and forced me out of the car. Then he repeated the procedure and it worked perfectly. Then he told me a secret. When you reach the final stage of programming a new key, don't rush. When turning the ignition…

Old keys, customer service does not stand behind the product

Bought these to make parts for my 2003 Ford Taurus. None of the keys work when I try to program them (I have 2 master keys and I can follow the instructions). I contacted the company and asked for a refund - first they asked for the make of my car and some other details, but now they are not willing to refund the money because I have exceeded the 3 month warranty (which is not listed anywhere) . can find?). My local locksmith sells, cuts and programs a new key for $50 - it's more expensive than

Two are better than one

I have an existing key (with a separate key fob that has cracked and part of the key has been removed) but I managed to lose it so I came and said I just need a new key , i can program it myself. A key with ours without programming would cost $89. So I ordered this set (I had an old FOB key and a second uncut FOB, see below). If you have two keys, you can authorize the third with Ford. If you only have one, there is a major factory VIN process that costs over $89. So now I have spares and can…

One of the built in transponders is not working

I bought a set of two keys for my 2002 Ford Ranger for $20. I carved them on site which cost $25 for a key. Then when I tried to program them, only one of the buttons could not be programmed. The transponder must be defective, or possibly not suitable for my car, although the other worked perfectly. So now I have a working key and an expensive key just for the door. I don't want to return my broken key as I've already had to pay $25 to have it cut and besides it can't be used by anyone else…

Reviewed by a qualified buyer

Saw the average rating and that it is compatible with my 2007 Man Van or Ford Freestar; depending on what you want to convey. So I bought it. A Ford dealer cut and programmed them for only $116.42. As a male Van, she has many problems. Strange noises, questionable power steering, and probably just what you can imagine the Ford dealer tried to use against me when I tried to pick it up; I'm probably trying to solve my problems with just a few small payments, eight times the ghost she's made of…

Half worked. Buy Strattec.

I needed to get an extra ignition key for my recently purchased 2003 Mazda B3000 (like the 3 liter Ford Ranger). The seller lost one of the two originals and I wanted at least one as a spare. If you're in a similar situation and don't mind putting in some effort (and saving some money), here's what I recommend. ), most likely you have installed a PATS II anti-theft system. Find out if you do. In any case, you must purchase a Strattec (OEM) key if you want to be sure it works. Visit the Strattec
