    Just what my fifth grader needs to use her Microbits to complete school projects. All parts worked and connected exactly as intended. Very satisfied. She was able to use and edit all the details on her own - a great gift for anyone who works with microbits.

    I have recently returned to electronics after many years so these kits are like a Christmas present to me, so nice to receive. There is so much in this box, so many different electronic parts and so much learning and experimentation all in one box. The only thing I like about this set is that it seems overpriced compared to other sets. But that's just my opinion. There are no expensive parts inside to justify the price. If the price suits you, I recommend.

    Lighter than me though it would be!

    This is our first test version of Microbits. Sitting down with my 7 year old boy I thought it would be quite difficult to set up the device to program it from a computer. However, it turns out it's that simple! Just create a program (actually just a set of kid-friendly graphical blocks of code) using a web-based code generation tool, then upload the file and copy (or drag and drop) the file into the micro-bit folder if that USB cable is connected. .If you change the program, you don't even need
