Tighten it as tight as I could and it won't stay in place. The pads have a plastic feel rather than rubber, so they don't stay in place. My son's bike is black and silver and I was able to remove the red sticker to make it black. It works but still moves if enough force is applied to it.

This kickstand still works great. It holds a lot of weight considering I have an e-bike with all the weight on the rear end. If this thing can handle a heavy battery, rear geared motor and controls, I'm sure it will hold you like a charm. Definitely recommend!

This is a very affordable and easy to fit footrest that can be used on a large children's or adult's bike. I first got this in hopes of using it on our kid's little bike, but it doesn't work at all with this one. We recently bought a large 20" bike which should work fine once the training wheels are off. My bike has an integrated luggage rack that rotates around the tire and can be used as a kickstand (see photo). While the trunk stand works well, obviously it can't work as a stand if you have something on the trunk.
