Best spend your money on power tools and hand tools

Delivered quickly and without damage. Works very well. I've sharpened a few kitchen knives that have chipped a bit over the years. I was able to sharpen and set a new angle fairly quickly with a 300 stone. I then used this knife with 1000 grit which made the knife very sharp and finally 6000 grit which polished the blade and made it terribly sharp. Probably the sharpest knife I've ever made. It does require some skill and practice to hand sharpen, but from the stones I've used in the past these

Good Starter Whetstone

I bought this after watching a YouTube video recommended by a chef. 9 years ago I got a good double-edged Japanese knife at a wedding. I consider myself an average home cook, sometimes I use knives 3 times a day, sometimes I don't use them at all. Anyway, my knives haven't been sharpened in 9 YEARS! They've been around for a long time, but I still use them. I knew they needed sharpening but didn't know how to do it until I watched this video. So I bought this block. I'm sure it's a great rock…

One of the best whetstones I have ever used

Received this 1200 along with the King 6000 in an order from 2 different sellers. As you can see from the photos, I received good things, one deluxe version each. I have sharpened 3 of my own knives today since they arrived and I will be sharpening the rest. It's so good to use. The feedback is amazing, I notice immediately when I deviate from a bevel or don't follow the sharpening lines. 2-3 ridge passes at Rockwell 55-58 and 4-5 at Rockwell 60-62. Good cutting speed for a 1200 grit stone, but
