Works great on my Q5 2.0 2015. Coordinates with the built in sensor. Now I don't have to warm up the engine and wait for accurate readings. It seems to be too long for my 2018 A4 allroad 2.0.

Wanted a real 2017 Audi dipstick for my wife. That works great. The only thing I will say is that it REALLY rubs/touches the soundproofing on the hood when you close it. Not really a big deal, but I wasn't happy. I heated the plastic ring with a flashlight and flattened it a bit. Voila! Ideal.

I'm tired of relying on the electronic oil level system. Come on Audi, save a buck by not using a real dipstick? This joystick fits perfectly and appears to be properly calibrated based on the electronic system. Now that I'm over 100k with the 2.0T it's starting to use some oil so being able to check the level when cold is very important, now I can!

It's such a relief to finally have a regular, simple and accurate oil level gauge. This seems accurate, tested at the "full" level so far (not showing the stupid screen, maybe you're a bit TOO full). Very cheap and helps when you just don't want to rely on the MMI, especially if it has lied to you about the level in the past. I would like to have this dipstick on my A4. For me, the good old dipstick is much more reliable and accurate than fiddling with the knobs in my car to read the oil level. I open the bonnet, check with an oil dipstick - done. No, there's no app for that, and that suits me.
