I have this to replace a very dirty band on my Giant road bike before I sell it. I liked the feel of this tape, it's very soft, cushioning and easy to apply, but I think it got dirty incredibly quickly and would be almost impossible to clean (I sold the bike before I had a chance to find out.) I I'll probably try a different tape in the future but I don't regret this purchase, it did what I needed to make the bike look good enough to sell.

I think the best thing that can be said about a proper bar is that it is comfortable enough and good enough that it doesn't feel negative when riding. This band is invisible. I like non-stick tape so I can wrap it tightly and evenly. I don't find it slippery in the rain (like another reviewer said), my hands get wet but I wrap the bar and it stays in place. Firstly, you won't find a better price for bar tape than here at Revain if you make it yourself. quickly. I would probably even give 5 stars but as there are no instructions for cyclists who have never done it myself I'll give it 4. That being said if you are wrapping make sure to tighten and you want the overlap but don't A LOT, because if you wrap loosely or overlap too much, you won't have enough to make it to the end. This handlebar tape seems to be a bargain. I usually buy the same brand but a different type with small holes that has a shinier finish. This band feels comfortable and seems to offer a good grip. BEFORE YOU BUY: Read the fine print. This strip tape has no self-adhesive backing. All the instructional videos I saw prior to purchasing showed tape with an adhesive backing, which made sense to me.
