Very complete kit with many additional parts for other carburettor types. The idle mixture seals were o-rings, the brass float is very soft, the paper seals and diaphragm just fit.

Not bad but there are a few parts that could be better eg. B. Tensioner Bolts and Gaskets. Also need a basic 4 hole gasket instead of some open versions for those of us with this intake manifold.

Needle valves are not suitable for the bowl. .315" and a .310" hole? The assembled carburetor is suitable for the installation of needle valves, no! I've never seen anything like this in 50 years of carburetor service. tried laying around in 3 bowls and no.

Processing disabled . Where to start! Needle and seats leak at 7 psi. The new adjusting nuts didn't even fit the seat adjusters. Bring back my old needle and seats (okay) The power valve was so damaged you could barely open and close it with your finger for fear of even using it. The secondary diaphragm was used after drilling a hole in the rod. The pads were ok. Hope that helps. Purchased in September 2021.

Well packaged, arrived early. It was good. Poorly. The kit contained the wrong size o-rings for the needle valves. There were a number of other O-rings that did not fit my carburetor. A needle valve was screwed in only halfway to allow the screw to tighten it. There was no vacuum seal between the carburetor body and the secondary vacuum seal. I rummaged through some old parts and some new ones and was finally able to put them together. Not impressed!

I categorically DO NOT RECOMMEND this kit for repairing KIPA carburetors. I offer this evaluation with over forty years of experience as an apprentice automotive mechanic. I am old enough to service, tune and rebuild multiple carburetors of all makes and models. Unfortunately the correct set from Holly is in reserve and not available. The list of complaints is so-so.
