Zero packaging in a big box - outrageous!

Came absolutely unpackaged in a large box - zero! Just an expensive 10-inch glass-topped frying pan dangling in a large box that would fit several frying pans. Looks like someone just took it off the shelf and threw it in the box. Damage to the outside of the pan from this unforgivable packaging and total disrespect for the customer!

Pros
  • also understandable for the old ones
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Great pot! Not quite my old KitchenAid pan, but close to

Excellent pot. Well made, durable, easy to clean. My old pot was KitchenAid, but it was enameled steel, so much heavier. The only problem is that the pot handles and lid can get hot. My old pot had the handles coated in hard rubber to keep the handles cool. But my old pot couldn't go in the oven, but this new one can!

Pros
  • Absolutely Awesome!
Cons
  • Not the best

Do not be fooled. Doesn't work on induction!

Doesn't work for induction. Induction is said to help make things faster. Since these pans only have steel rings to conduct, they will not work properly. Bought in June, at the repair. It's October now, we've moved into our house and the pots aren't working but I'm stuck with them. dear mistake No value if they don't do what you need.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Some little things

The best frying pan in the kitchen and dining room

I bought this frying pan to replace the Faberware non-stick frying pan. I don't know if I love this one more because the old one was starting to stick, but this one is great. The only drawback is the lid. This pan distributes the heat so evenly that even the handle on the lid gets hot. Luckily my Fabervar lid fits this pan and I can use it. The handle is covered with rubber. Very happy with the purchase.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Bought for pot sizes, induction but quality is a little disappointing

I have an induction hob and it has been a challenge finding different sized pots that will work with it. Few pots are induction compatible and most come in sets (or very expensive ones) that don't have the variety of sizes I want. I like the size of the pots which is why I bought it in the first place. But the quality disappointed me a bit. I learned a few things from other reviewers (they "sing" a bit, the grips get so hot you need a handguard), but I was surprised that the lids didn't stay in

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • So far so good

Very disappointed in this pan

I'm usually a big fan of KitchenAid products but not with this purchase. I might have gotten the lemon - since almost every other review is brimming with praise - but I really hate this pan. First, the bottom is arched. So if I pour 2 tons of liquid/oil into a pot, it immediately spreads around the outer rim (leaving the center of the pan free of liquid/oil) rather than evenly covering the bottom of the pot. Secondly, everything burns in this pan. It doesn't matter whether the food burns on…

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • repair
