Only works for my purposes.

I had another dummy pair of bridges, one of which stopped working. I installed them in their places and was able to reconnect. It's been a few weeks and no problems have been observed. I would like to see more ethernet ports or skews with 4 or 8 port options and the ability to order a single unit instead of a pair. I wish it could be USB powered and should come with a coax cap. They seem expensive compared to something like a small ethernet switch, but I think the lack of competition and…

worked like. No consistent speed

I ordered Kiwee Moca adapters because they had 2 ethernet ports. I figured I could connect the workstation to one port on the remote side and connect the second port to the Fire Stick. I have a Fire Recast hardwired into my network and based on the speed claims of these adapters I figured it would handle the load. Incidentally, the FireStick network adapter only works at 100 Mbit/s. First I connected a workstation and ran a speed test. I had about 700 Mbit/s. I was expecting the speed to be…

Near linear speed on 1Gbps links

This is a great option if your cabling is fine, some tweaking may be needed. But take your cables, their plugs are rubbish. which is not particularly important. I need decent network speed for remote software development. I often upload gigabytes of work or need to pull large datasets from production servers over VPN. The company had invested heavily in providing bandwidth, and the 30 Mbps I was able to get over Wi-Fi wasn't to my liking. I tried powerline adapters because it seemed like the…

The perfect addition to the existing MoCA 2.5 network!

So, I found myself in a situation where the coaxial cable went into one room but not into the next room. I originally used a splitter to split this coax signal (second splitter) and used 2 Gocoax adapters (1 for each room, with an ethernet connection to another adjacent room). I would say it worked well. However, it consumed twice as many outputs, and I wasn't sure how the splitter affected the overall throughput. I first tried a transliterated 2x1GbE adapter (see my review on this product) and

great solution for high speed ethernet over coax!

Better than punching holes in the wall for category 5, 6, 7 cable. Quick and easy installation and setup in my Xfinity coax system without disturbing video signals. The interface of the device is simple and convenient. Kiwee's support was outstanding - very quick and detailed response to all levels of questions and concerns. Kiwee's support helped me learn MoCA techniques. I can't thank the support team enough for helping me and answering some very detailed questions. Great solution and great…
