I use it to connect thermostats. I love the fact that you can flip the shaft to lengthen the screwdriver. Turn it over to shorten and slide the sleeve down so the screwdriver doesn't poke a hole when it's in your pocket. Every day is in a shirt pocket. The clip is good, does not fall out like the previous ones.

So I'm a Tade HVAC Tech guy and literally just found out about this tool. Let me just say this has to be the best tool I have ever bought for my Tade. I just wish I knew right after school because it's really handy and works great! Makes my work easier. I like the replacement tip for thermostats and schrader valves. Wow. just wow.

Small is usually better. Bought this for my HVAC tool bag. Doesn't seem to fit where I need it. It's better to get a simple version of this, which is a small flathead screwdriver with a Schrader valve tool on the other end. I checked with my parts store and they just gave me the stock that was in their box. Wouldn't recommend it.

Well I had it 12 days and already I lost my Schrader crown. It also appears that the front of this screwdriver's handle rotates around the body, so you can't use your index finger and thumb to rotate the barrel. I was very happy to get this tool but had to resort to the free screwdriver that Johnstone gives out. A huge waste of money considering you can do anything with something you get for free from your supplier.

I work as an HVAC specialist and this is the only tool I carry in my bag as I use it to wire tstat to tstat and also the core of the use removal tool .
