Description of ๐Ÿ’พ KNACRO Arduino Multi-Function Shield with 4-Digit Display

Perfectly compatible with 2009, UNO, LENARDO, 2560 and other controllers. 4 LED lights (LED indicator to know the importance of doing in the actual project, with this indicator can work directly with the program status indicators for easy debugging. 3296 Precision adjustable potentiometer, analog input port (can be used to control LED brightness, turn the steering angle, digital voltage, etc.). Four digital (using 74HC595 driver provincial IO learning SPI), you can do digital display test (can display temperature, voltage, counter value, etc.). Three separate buttons, a reset button, you can do key experiments (HMI).

Works best in electronics

At first glance all the components work well. Unfortunately, the pin spacing on the right side of this shield makes it difficult to connect to a breadboard (as opposed to mounting on an Arduino). This is not a defect but a design feature of the Arduino connectors.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't really like it, everything is fine

Great tooth preservation product.

Only two problems but not with this product. But with software. The buzzer is active high. The documentation says it's active low. It doesn't hum when writing LOW to a digital I/O pin. And the example code for strobing a 4 digit display resulted in some digits being brighter than others. I fixed both problems.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Beep is best in power converters

I like this shield, but it turns out that the logic for Beep has been reversed in the MultiFuncShield library for Arduino. You can change the default value of BEEPER_PIN and also override the value in writeBeeper(character value) in the .cpp file by entering "!" for the value in the function body. It's possible that this is an issue with the transistor that sits between the pin and the audio signal itself, and therefore needs to be changed in the software to fix the hardware issue.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Communicate with seller
