that I use for braking with load cells for simulators. I built an amp and it works great. The only advice I will give is to put heat shrink tubing around the wires at the base. I pulled out two wires very easily, but I was able to detach them.

The product was well packaged and packed in an anti-static bag. The load cell was clearly labeled and the online chart was correctly labeled. I contacted Knakro who quickly answered my question. If I need another one, I'll order it here without hesitation.

I really like using these load cells for projects, but I have had two bad experiences with this supplier. Both times I have received strain gauges with exposed strain gauge wiring due to a lack of silicon at the corners. This is not the case with other providers. I'm assuming they're all from the same bad batch.

I bought this load cell for a project I was working on. I would like it to be soldered to the ADC chip considering how thin the wires from the load cell are. Regardless, I hooked it up separately, calibrated/tested it using the HX711 library I found online, and it worked fine at first. I ended up plugging it into my whole system a few days later and it stopped working. I've tried everything. I went back to the pretest where the code was just for the weight sensor, tried a few microcontrollers…

Works great like all other CheapCh load cells. The only difference between the load ranges of these beam type LCells is the size of the strain gauge holes. In terms of size, they're all (out of many I've tested) the same. 12mm x 12mm x 80mm, thread 4mm x 0.8mm on the load side and 5mm x 0.8mm on the fixed end. The holes are at a distance of 5 mm and 20 mm from the ends. Pay attention to the size of the HX711 boards. I had big boards when I bought them but now I see small boards in the photos…
