Great yarn, good for knitting and crocheting

I bought this when KnitPicks was quarantined and not shipping. It came quickly, not a fake, a pleasure to work with yarn. No breaks or knots. Gently worked and I liked the gradient; It was monochromatic enough to be professional but attractive enough not to be a boring knit. Both the knitter and the recipient were satisfied!

Pros
  • for crocheting 21-32 sc = 4 inches on BE crochet hook (2.25). -3.5mm)
Cons
  • Security

I love this yarn, suitable for knitting and crocheting

I knit socks for my granddaughter with this yarn, it's her favorite color. I started them for myself when she told me they were supposed to be her favorite color, but the more I worked on them, the more I wanted a pair for myself, so I found the poppy field color on amazon, yes! So now I'm going to make myself a pair of socks. I love knitting yarn for socks, I have it in many colors.

Lovely looking forward to working with it

The Inverness Foundation is deep in colour, quite high and bouncy to the fingering and just beautiful. Made from a 4-layer material consisting of 80% merino wool and 20% polyester, it is ideal for socks. The yarn is very soft and does not unravel easily, as I found during weaving by dividing the skein into identical 50g balls. I didn't see any knots or thin spots when unwinding the skein and the hand dyed gradient was well consistent throughout. The apparent quality compares well to any other…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Non "pearl " and fluffy fiber

I have ordered several balls of KnitPicks and am happy with them. Today I received "Pearlescent Tonal" and was not satisfied. To me, the name "Pearlescent" describes a fairly white color with a pearly sheen. I ordered a Bare Glimmer last time and it had shimmering fibers in it. He really shined! But "pearl" is completely flat. Colors are off-white ("blank" or untinted color) mixed with very light gray. Gray can have warm gray tones and cool gray tones. I took many photos in different lighting…

  • Easy to use
