this works great on my 2015 road slip and is securely secured with a rack preventing a thief from easily taking it off. both parts are installed and the band holds. I want Harley to do it from the factory

Would give a full 5 stars but the seat bolt that came with the aluminum seat cover does not fit. Maybe it's just not a step that is validation. But this item works fine on its own so I need to order a seat bolt with a smaller shoulder.

Perfect fit for my 2013 DYNA. It was easy to install and since my seat had a chrome grommet I didn't have to use the chrome grommet that came with the knurled saddle bolt. Looks great and now I don't need a screwdriver to remove the seat. Good product and fast delivery!

Very polished and bright. The workmanship is a little sloppy, but it's perfectionism. The head of the screw is huge. It's the size of a nickel and probably half an inch tall. The previous ones I had were a lot less monolithic and worked fine. You won't have any problem grabbing this thing.

The clip around the base of the screw is too large to fit the decorative chrome end cap provided. Because the screw is crooked and can tear out the threads of your bike. I now see that at least one other buyer has had the same experience. The seller puts the washer under the cover so that the screw does not hang out. In fact, the washer should fill the space created by the ill-fitting screw. If the screw were screwed all the way in, it would be tighter and less likely to dangle. Buy another…

Tired of prying out a screwdriver when I need to remove the seat and I find the Phillips screw unsightly. I rolled the dice on this screw and cover and am very satisfied. The chrome cover comes with tape to attach to the Original Equipment seat bracket. Clean, align and glue. Then insert a new shiny thumbscrew. There is a rubber washer, as in the photo. Item looks good and quality looks ok but fit and finish was not what was expected. First of all, don't expect it to be completely glossy black like in the photo. It is not. It's more of a matte finish, it's anodized rather than powder coated. Second and most importantly, the cover didn't fit my seat and the screw didn't match the cover.
