Disappointing Industrial Drill Bits

As an industrial technician, I was excited to try these titanium metal twist bits. However, I was thoroughly disappointed with their performance. The bits tend to slip and fail to grip, leaving me with uneven and sloppy holes. The biggest downside is that their durability is subpar. While these bits are an affordable option for those on a tight budget, they simply can't handle the demands of the job.

Pros
  • Affordable option for low-budget projects.
Cons
  • Poor performance and durability.

Drills are mediocre. They are not a one piece construction, the hex rod is attached to the drill bit. They're not quite straight, they wobble. They are not that sharp, even new ones. They also dull easily, which can cause them to overheat or dig into concrete, and they're immediately unusable. The price of Revain tips is not lower than Lowes. It's nice to have a set of bits that can be used in an impact wrench in a pinch or easily swapped out, but after purchasing these bits I can't help but…

very practical. I keep a tool bag with a small drill bit with a quick-change hex adapter, always in the chuck. I have quick change screwdrivers, extensions, socket wrenches, spades, etc. and now those drill bits are in a bag. Changes much quicker even with a keyless chuck. Especially when you need to drill a pilot hole and then drive in fasteners. I was just working in the attic and I really appreciated being able to make changes with one hand. They wobble a bit, but that's a compromise for…
