Just spent two hours removing a broken toilet seat, the anchor holding tool is a joke made out of thin metal that bends so easily it doesn't do anything. hold anchor. If the house didn't have this toilet I'd rather buy a brand new toilet to avoid a damn disappointment. The entire toilet this part took is the worst design I have ever had the misfortune to come across. This tool is needed because of the crazy system where you can't access the bottom 0 seat screw so you have to use a jackscrew. You only need this product because the previous seat bolts failed and it is almost impossible to remove these bolts. This is only needed for Kohler One Piece toilets where you can't access the screws from below, which hold the toilet seat in place because it is in a cavity with only one hole at the top - the hole where the screw goes. Don't make me start with an idiotic design. For about $25 you can get a tool, old anchor nuts, tools to install new anchor nuts, and two anchor nuts.
