I liked the versatile backpack and roller. The amount of mesh is amazing as it allows our pet to see in all directions. Maybe it's my fault for not knowing how to attach the base. It fell a few times as we taxied through the airport terminal.

This is the third I have bought for my Shih Tzu in years and this one was cheaper than the other two but actually better quality. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to assemble it, so a guide would have helped, but maybe I am!

I like the bag, BUT there are flaws in the design. The backpack straps are dangling and when you roll your animal they get caught in the wheels! I didn't realize this was happening until it was too late and the wheel stopped moving. In the end I managed to get the strap off but I literally had to tear it. I was very unhappy.

I was initially skeptical about buying this bag because of the bad reviews but ended up buying it on sale. As you can see from my photos, this backpack has a part where you can put the shoulder strap of the backpack when you roll it up. This bag is perfect! If you have a dog that is 10 pounds or heavier I think it will be too small for your dog. My dog weighs 7 kilos

These bags are perfect! I have 2 Jack Russells, the largest is 18 pounds. I used the bag on an international flight and also on a US flight. The key is to take out the cardboard base and you can also remove the metal bars. When the bag is upright, the dog can turn around and meet the airline's criteria. I don't usually write reviews but if you are a parent of a dog and planning a trip you are probably concerned about whether this is big enough/comfortable for your pup. I didn't return it because of the quality, it was because it wasn't big enough for my cats. It took me a while to figure out how to attach the part that holds the two small supports to the ground without wheels and I needed a hammer to make the part myself.
