Kraft Cover Blank Paper Sketch Review

These sketchbooks are small enough to fit in my work bag and large enough , so I can draw comfortably. The quality of the paper is textured to give me enough teeth to sketch. The open spine is no problem for me - I use colored tape to "decorate" the cover and make the book jacket. Paper, and heavy use, will cause the pages to "bleed" until you fill the hole in the page. I've been using this notebook as my bullet journal for about 6 months. Good quality paper, I like how it lays flat. The lid comes off, which wasn't usually a problem, and it was strong enough to meet my needs. However, the sides shine through a bit and the thing literally falls apart. If you can live with the fact that this book might unbind, then you have a decent mixed media magazine notebook. I'm a real fan of the sizes, slightly larger than travel magazine size but smaller than large US aged which is a lovely vintage cream color. At first I thought I'd buy it as a mixed media sketchbook as the title says 350gsm. Do not be fooled! They're referring to the cover of the sketchbook, not its pages (I mean, who does that?! As if anyone cares what the cover looks like).
