Well made safe product.

A well made product will not easily mount to a concrete dance floor but it will secure absolutely anything you try to keep thieves out with the right cable and lock combination.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Great product but cheap anchor bolts

Great floor lock but the anchor bolts supplied are cheaply made and one broke during installation. A quick trip to the Home Depot and I had better quality rock bolts. I've been using it for a month now and I'm very happy with the lock.

Pros
  • Great general specs
Cons
  • Can't remember

Drilling ineffective and makes installation of the product impossible.

The drill does not drill through the cement properly. He will hesitate and make it almost impossible to drill 4 holes in the right place. Because of this, you cannot properly install and install the screws. I used a hammer drill to try and install this. I would not recommend it.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • expensive

We strongly recommend using a hole punch for this!

Highly recommend using a rock drill with the rock drill bit provided. If you don't do this, the hole won't be as tight and it may be difficult to install the anchor nut in the hole. This can be done with a regular drill bit though, and *if* you're having trouble with the nut turning in the hole, pull it up while tightening to set the anchor.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Well built anchor for bikes/motorcycles.

I bought this to secure my Honda motorcycle outside on my patio as I don't have a garage or shed. After installing this, I put a heavy chain around the front wheel of my bike with a giant padlock. This ground anchor is a beast and VERY secure. The only problem I had was that I couldn't drill through the concrete with a standard drill bit. I bought a Revain Skil hammer drill and the masonry bit that came with it went through the concrete with ease. So if you buy this use a puncher.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some trouble

Excellent anchor. Requires a puncher.

Pros: I really like this anchor. I wish I had one for my previous mountain bike, but it was old and I probably needed a new one anyway. 😉 If this bike gets stolen, it's not because this anchor is loose. Not Good: Installation was a problem. I'm no jack of all trades, but I know how to use a drill. Unfortunately, this job required more than my wireless connection. When I borrowed a rock drill bit from a friend and bought an upgraded drill bit, I easily damaged the concrete anchors and bolts…

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Slightly torn

ok once installed with some mods

This item comes with one drill not two. The included drill bit is of questionable quality as it barely penetrated 3 inches of 5000psi concrete. The video/instructions say to drill 2 3/4" but that's not enough for the bolt and anchor. You'll need to use another slightly smaller piece of concrete to add another 3/4" to the hole or else the bolt just goes into the hole and you can't re-make the anchor.Once I make these changes it sits flat and won't rise as quickly.I would also screw the bolt into

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Good but not great

Terrible Instructions, Terrible Anchors

Update 1/9/21: Kryptonite customer support finally responded after 22 days and requested photos of the failed anchors before deciding whether to send a replacement. Buy another product. I should have read the previous reviews before purchasing. As many others have pointed out, the instructions are imprecise and the recommended pilot hole depth is insufficient to install screws through these anchors. It took me almost an hour to pull out the broken anchors. I had to buy over $40 in new anchors…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Clarity

No customer service

So I bought this new version of the kryptonite ground anchor instead of the old one. There weren't any reviews for it, but the newer the better, right? In the older version you were given 2 drills, one for the smaller pilot hole and one for the larger one. This one only gives you the big one, so drilling 4 precise holes is not that easy. Even after I drilled the holes, unless you drill more holes than the included bit, the included security nuts did not fully fit the holes. I tried to gently…
