This lock is strong. If I was a thief I probably wouldn't have broken it after feeling this lock in my hand. If I didn't have the right tool. The locking mechanism could be a bit smoother as it sometimes doesn't want to turn all the way, but that's ok.

I used this lock to secure my 3G Bikes Venice 7SPD bike in my apartment building garage in front of my assigned parking space. The lock fits around the frame, wheels and through steel cables. The lock wobbles and needs to be physically opened and closed every time you close the lock. Overall I found it heavy and difficult to manage given the limited level of protection it offers. I was planning on using it to lock the bike to the frame but ended up returning it and buying a second U-lock which is more convenient.

This is a sturdy chain and lock combination that can be worn wrapped around the seat post. It works well on a bike rack, protects railings and signs, but is too short to get around a log. The oddly shaped key must be inserted carefully to activate the locking mechanism. It also seems very difficult to break or cut.

I've read that you have to insert the key all the way into the lock for it to work properly and I definitely have Try, but often the problem was that the key seemed to go almost all the way in, but not all the way. The key will turn but not unlock unless it is fully engaged. I love how durable the chain feels, it's covered in fabric and has a rubber tube at the end. Will you continue to use it, but hope that over time the key will go in quite easily in the future and just need lapping?

Excellent lock, excellent theft protection. Keep in mind that you can probably only get a frame, getting a wheel and frame isn't enough unless everything is very close together. Worked for me because I wanted something bulletproof but was trying to keep my road passenger's weight down. I think it's about a pound lighter and a foot shorter than the 785.
