Surprisingly, it's faster and safer than existing battery-powered sharpeners. The adjustable angle is a handy feature when you need to sharpen your colored pencils along with regular graphite pencils. It's also compact and safe enough for my young child to use without worrying about cutting his finger. Definitely worth the few bucks more compared to the cheap Office Depot variant.

I don't know if I have a bad sharpener or what but I've tried different colored pencils and none of them have a sharp point. In fact, they're pretty stupid.
